Meeting Agent for Claude and ChatGPT

A notetaker that lives inside your assistant. It sends a recording bot to Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings and brings the transcript back into the conversation, so you can ask what was said, what was decided and who owns what.

Getting started

  1. Add Meeting Agent from the connector directory in Claude, or the plugin directory in ChatGPT.
  2. Sign in or create a Meeting BaaS account on the page it opens; new accounts come with one free hour of recording.
  3. Pick the workspace the assistant may use and how long recordings are kept.
  4. Go back to the conversation. Everything else happens there.

You can disconnect the assistant at any time from its settings; access stops immediately. Your meetings, balance and settings stay available on the Meeting BaaS dashboard.

Try saying

  • “Record this meeting: https://meet.google.com/abc-defg-hij”
  • “Record tomorrow's 4pm standup, it's in French”
  • “What did we decide in yesterday's call with Acme?”
  • “Schedule recordings for all my external meetings this week”
  • “Summarize my last meeting into action items with owners”
  • “Delete the recording of Monday's 1:1”

What it can do

The assistant chooses the right action from what you ask; these are the actions it has.

join_meetingSend the recording bot to a meeting link, now or at a set time
get_meeting_statusFollow the bot while it joins and records
get_transcriptRead a finished meeting as timestamped speaker turns
search / fetchFind earlier meetings and cite them
connect_calendarLink where you connect your Google or Microsoft calendar
list_upcoming_eventsSee your upcoming meetings and which ones have a bot booked
schedule_recordingBook the bot for a calendar meeting, or every occurrence of one
list_scheduled_recordingsSee which future meetings already have a bot booked
get_accountCheck the recording hours left and how long recordings are kept
set_retention_policyChoose how long recordings and transcripts are kept
delete_meetingRemove one meeting's recording and transcript for good

Meetings from your calendar

Ask the assistant to connect your calendar and it gives you a link where you sign in with Google or Microsoft and approve read-only access to your primary calendar. From then on it can list your upcoming meetings and book the bot for the ones you name, without you pasting a link. Nothing is recorded until you ask: say “record tomorrow’s call with Acme” for one meeting or “record all my standups” for every occurrence of a recurring one, and the bot follows the event if it moves. Meeting BaaS uses that access only to find meeting links and times; disconnect at any time from the Calendars page of your dashboard.

A calendar connection is not required to record a meeting you already know about: give the assistant the link and the start time and it books the bot for that meeting. A connected calendar is what lets you book recurring meetings in one go and have the bot follow reschedules.

Bot name and language

You can name the bot as it should appear in the participant list. Names use letters, numbers, spaces and simple punctuation, without emoji: Microsoft Teams refuses anything else, so the same rule applies everywhere to keep the name you chose the one that joins. Transcripts detect the spoken language automatically; tell the assistant the language when you know it and it is set for that recording.

Time and billing

New accounts start with a free hour of recording. After that you add any amount of time from $5 at one rate, about $0.31 an hour (16 hours for $5), and pay only for what you record; there is no subscription and unused time never expires. Payment is by card through Stripe; the card is saved so your hours top up automatically before they run out, and you can switch that off at any time. Recording time is managed from your Meeting BaaS account, and the account holder is emailed when it runs low.

Your data

Recordings, transcripts and chat logs are stored for the number of days you choose when connecting and then deleted automatically. You can shorten that period or delete a single meeting from your assistant. Your assistant only receives what an action asks for; it never receives your conversation history from us, and we never read it. See the privacy policy for retention, sub-processors and contact details, and the terms and conditions for use through an AI assistant.
